Keeping up the Fight for Reduced Area Gut (FRAG)

Hello all,

I've been running with a neighbor fairly regulary @ 5am before work until my left calf strained. Since then, I've taken it easy on the running and have biked more often. I've been in Oregon this week and will be next as well. Complimentary passes to the health club has proven advantageous.

Last nite, I did a spinning class. For those of you who have not experienced it, I recommend trying it. Fifty minutes of very hard biking at all levels of speed and resistance. Just as soon as that was over, I was coerced by another instructor to participate in circuit weight training for another 45 minutes.

Needless to say, I feel great today.

Running High

Catchy title, don't you think? I'm at 6400 feet this morning outside of Walsenburg Colorado, just finished my 4 miler and I must say, it was painful!. I'm hoping that it will ease off a bit once I get acclimated. It was tough, but you sure can't beat the view :) (courtesy of Holly's cool new Rebel XT)

Music Videos

Oh, for the past fifteen years or so, I, like many others of my generation, have been internally lamenting the loss of music videos on MTV and, to a lesser extent, VH1. Today though, I retract some of that loss. Due to the pouring rain remants of Hurricane Dennis, I decided to treadmill my 10K this morning. For the duration of the run (minus a fair amount of commericals), I watched nothing but very good videos on VH1. It was nice.
