A Run in the Woods

An easy 4 this morning, and not nearly as cold as the weekend! Holly and I ran though Creve Coeur Park on one of the new trails that connect to our subdivision. It is a remarkably peaceful place to run. We saw a family of white tail deer, numerous birds and a really cool frozen waterfall. We've been running there intermittently all year and it is a great resource for those of us who live out west. It also connects to the Kady Trail, so it is also great for those long weekend runs.

  • I've taken the trail all the way to old St. Charles. Once you cross the bridge, it is back to a nice wooded path that ulitmately runs right by the Lewis & Clark memorial.
